The thing I love about that @Charles EP M. is that it's just as chaotic as what we had, but in a completely different way that arguably may be better but potentially may not be.
YesMonsignor, I imagine.
Also features, the still beating heart of Tammany Hall!
That which is dead may never die.
Oh it is. Most of its death really as to do with the fact that FDR excluded them out of the New Deal and thus made them an irrelevance. And that was just due to the FDR-Smith split. Many factors could keep them alive. I did it in my Crapgames of New York deck shuffle back at the other place and there are countless other ways to do it.I recently watched half of Gangs of New York (i watched half of it on wednesday night, and then the CCP decided i couldnt have netflix any more) and I find Tammany fascinating and have wondered if its possible to have it remain relevant to the present day.
2020-20xx: Ed Miliband (Labour) in coalition with Nicola Sturgeon (Liberal Democrat)
Did you mean Jo Swinson?
I did but oh man, there's got to be something in "Sturgeon leaps from SNP to LD"
With that PoD time I don't know if I could see that happening unless she somehow moderates and the Lib Dems go full Federalist.
I had her as leader of Labour but that was with a PoD of 1983 and was a gimmick list as much as anything else. (Had fracturing of parties but electoral alliance leaders were all leaders from OTL
Her first election campaign was telling her dad to vote Green in 1989
1989punk with Farage and Swinson as co-leaders of the Green Party
