I remember when Dragnea literally said in 2018 that anyone against him is a rat that needs to be exterminated for the Fatherland and almost no one flinched because openly sending death threats and goons to beat up/kill your political enemies has been normalized since before the dawn of Romania as a recognized country.

Nearly everyone is just openly ok with murder as long as it’s someone they don’t like politically.
