I've not read @monroe 's story although the title intrigued me, so it was interesting to hear about the Quantum Leap style gimmick but jumping into parallel selves. I feel that's an underdone concept, even though it was kind of used in one of the very first AH stories, L. Sprague de Camp's "Wheels of If".
