That actually works really well at illustrating the primaries.
Excellent. I wouldn't use it for most lists but thats a project where the Primaries are at least half the story. And I figure every once in a while its a good thing to offer a look at.That actually works really well at illustrating the primaries.
My only two criticisms areExcellent. I wouldn't use it for most lists but thats a project where the Primaries are at least half the story. And I figure every once in a while its a good thing to offer a look at.
I've always done my names that way? But as to the second point you're correct. I always just did it that way because in his fathers case "Pat" comes from nothing. My only two criticisms are
1) Your presentation of the names are overly formal
2) By your rules, I think it should be E. Gerald Brown Jr. since Jerry is a diminutive of Gerald
I'm nothing if not predictable.aaaaaaaaaaa
I take it Faubus takes a little more after his dad than IOTL.
Reivilo in South Africa was named after a dude called Olivier the town elders didn't like so they wrote it backwardsTy Cobb? The baseball player?
"Revilo P. Oliver" sounds like a name you'd use to commit credit card fraud.
Yes and definitely yes.Ty Cobb? The baseball player?[

I hadn't been able to find Vaughan's either (or Kirsty Williams or Andrew RT Davies's, and I'm not completely certain about Ieuan Wyn's)That's pretty awesome.
And just to pointlessly add on to this...
Plaid leader: Adam ap Rufus
Labour contesters: Vaughan ap Dafydd, Eluned ferch Hopcyn, Marc ap ...
oh. I can't find who was Mark Drakeford's father anywhere

For Mark specifically I could only get stuff about his son's recent conviction and it was just too depressing.
Half because I couldn't find a way to Cambrify Jeff, half because it's meant to be imitation Iceland (where they exist but are rare) and she seemed the most likely to (maybe Gill, given the little I found out about his background, but it ultimately doesn't seem in character for him personally). This certainly shows why patronymic surnames [or matronymic, as I notice you had Leanne use] works better than the Saxon system![]()
Jeff is another form of Geoff which is short for Geoffrey which is Sieffre in Welsh, I believe? Still, she's definitely the type to go matronymicHalf because I couldn't find a way to Cambrify Jeff, half because it's meant to be imitation Iceland (where they exist but are rare) and she seemed the most likely to (maybe Gill, given the little I found out about his background, but it ultimately doesn't seem in character for him personally).
Technically I suppose I should have changed Avril to Afril on reflection.
Yeah.Jeff is another form of Geoff which is short for Geoffrey which is Sieffre in Welsh, I believe? Still, she's definitely the type to go matronymic
Nathan Gill seems the type to just say "I'm not changing my name for the Welsh" or something and be the only Saxon-sounding name
