True but if the United States, France ore the United Kingdom do not get involved it might be a Balkan War, but just bigger than the previous two.Isn't that what World War I, at least in the region, was to begin with?

Now that would be something to see and for Germany a dream come true.Might be tricky. The UK was VERY concerned about both Russian and German influence in the Balkans/Ottomans. We might end up with a WW1 where the UK and Germany are allied against France and Russia.
Yeah Britain is never going go sit out when there's any chance it's interests and mountain of skulls are vaguely threatened by a Major European war.
Anyone who’s against it is a traitor to the Labour PartyOh now come on, don't exaggerate, we didn't formally establish the Ministry for Skulls until 1946
leaving Wesley as the only real poorly-conceived character. Maybe not fair on Wheaton, but he never really matured as an actor until it was too late to save the character
Hugh Dalton zoning out is a mood.
DS9 is set in a civilian setting and a lot of the cast isn't Starfleet. (This, incidentally, is the element the later attempts to redo DS9 have failed to have.)I'd argue DS9 shows Wesley doesn't have to be terrible because that has two kids who run around having hijinks, both children of a lead, and one ends up a Starfleet cadet.
In All Honesty: they move somewhere else. What if the Buffalo Bills won four straight Super Bowls?

Let's say they come back for Super Bowl XXVI, win a tough game, and then the team slowly fades from those heights.
Am I wrong, or does this seem to mostly be either from newbies, or a small group of people with slightly rehashed ideas each time?Every month or more often on the Other Place there's a thread on how a white settler majority country could arise in Africa, how apartheid could survive and be nicer etc. It's very odd.
I tend to reply with some history and stats as why this would be inherently unstable, unsustainable, but back of my mind is a voice saying "why do people keep postulating this"
No, not really. The genre has a huge racism problem.Am I wrong, or does this seem to mostly be either from newbies, or a small group of people with slightly rehashed ideas each time?
