    "Banu" or "bani" are both correct translations for "sons of" depending on how you use it in a sentence. I could explain when to use which but it's complicated and no one will know. House of Cain would be Bayt Qabil but that's not ever a prefix for clans, it's always Bani. You don't have to use the Bani all the time; the members of the tribe would be Qabilis and the tribe can be referred to as just the "Qabil".
