So only a couple of hundred miles, even if they'd gone down the Bull route of modifying them. Plus they'd have had to have cracked miniaturization for the warhead to be effective. IF they'd had access to the uranium, though, it might well have been worth them diverting the money and effort into building a more effective delivery means.

A lot of AH potential here...
They could always get their missiles via other methods. Egypt still uses North Korean Scuds, and the Saudis bought Chinese DF-3As in the late 1980s and have recently bought DF-21s.

All true. For that matter, IIRC, Bull approached Libya as well to pitch his supergun project. In a slightly different turn of events, I could see Bull getting funding from Libya after all if events had gone slightly differently.
