As a single issue anti war ticket it makes quite a bit of sense. It'd implode in contact with power but that would be a distant worry.
That was also roughly the concept I wanted to explore. Have them cause a deadlock in the EC, Democrats and Republicans bargain with each other to keep the war going, increasing opposition causes a February Revolution with Congressman Paul becoming Speaker and POTUS at gunpoint, Peace coalition collapses in a short time, and we get a paleoconservative dictatorship led by Paul’s Nazi supporters.
