Does Look Both Ways, recently released on Netflix, qualify as "personal alternate history" in the vein of Blind Chance, Run Lola Run and Sliding Doors? I haven't watched it but from what I've read the POD is a pregnancy test that either comes out positive or negative, with each possibility explored in turn.

With that description I don't see why it wouldn't be. (And for a sillier example you have the movie Clue with its multiple endings)
 
How big a sub-genre is it in mainstream culture? It's a pretty massive one in fanfiction

It's been placed in my to watch list, and will probably be reported on in the film thread. But yeah, I very much got Sliding Doors vibes from the preview snippet.
