It’s actually just “what if only members of a political party bothered voting”-Labour has the most members (432 thousands) so it would win a mega majority under FPTP rules.Kais Starmer idk

I wonder what the discourse would be on Corbyn there. On one hand, he doesn't have the positive high of the upset denying May a majority so he never proved his wing of the party could deliver, on the other hand Labour couped him and went on to a historic disaster. And of course he wouldn't have been in the spotlight long enough for his bigger issues or the lack of coherence in his program to become relevant.2015-2016 Jeremy Corbyn

The other PoD if you can spot it is Leanne Wood managing to become First Minister via a Fuck Labour coalition with the Conservatives and UKIP before it falling apart in less than a month and Labour returning to power in the Welsh Assembly after a snap election, with Wood and PC being discredited for a while as well as the Tories and UKIP in eyes of the Welsh nationalists and unionists respectively, leading to Abolish the Assembly having a small victory.I wonder what the discourse would be on Corbyn there. I think Wayne Morse or Eugene McCarthy could be decent bets.At first I thought of Hump but in this scenario Wallace already beat him so he might be damaged goods and RFK is still grieving.
God Romanian politics is…something. Almost every political scenario seems to be ‘Evil and Corrupt’ versus ‘Wacky and Corrupt’ and often Wacky, Evil and Corrupt wins.@Time Enough @Walpurgisnacht
One of the plans I have for A Thing is Vergil Hîncu, renowned quack and mad scientist/doomsday prophet, becoming President after the long awaited mass earthquake he always talked about actually happens in 2004 (like it nearly did OTL,literally one hour before the general elections) and he gets elected on the single issue that matters at the moment, only for him to realize that he doesn’t actually have a plan beyond earthquake related stuff.
Incidentally,OTL he never actually had a plan to deal with the massive earthquake he talked about beyond “nuke the whole county of Vrancea” and “idk, hide, pray to God and acknowledge me as a genius and give me the Nobel Prize”.
