What's Opera, Doc? Part 4: Opera of Africa

This was delightful. What a great idea for a cultural POD.

Thanks. It's all really rather reliant on handwaving the political situation, though there's some fun possibilities looking forward to where someone starts trying to integrate Egyptian instruments into the ofchestra- microtonal opera might actually be a possibility.

Also I just realised this morning that you could probably end up with an actually Egyptian opera Composer emerging at precisely the time to capitalise on the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb...

Also @David Flin - I wish I could grow a beard that dense.
 
This is a fascinating look at something I had no idea existed and now want to see in things all the time
