RIP George. In addition to his alternate history work, I remember how he would always conscientiously like everything I posted for SLP on Facebook whenever I was worried it wasn't reaching anyone. A small thing but one I will remember.

Extremely saddened to hear of his passing. As well as diligently liking most posts I made on my Facebook author page, I also remember how he reached out to contact me after my first book was published via SLP to discuss it. A true gentlemen where the world is lesser for his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

George's family have been in touch to thank SLP for this heartfelt tribute, and also to say that George's funeral will be Wednesday 5th October at 2.30pm at Glynn Valley Crematorium in Bodmin. If anyone wishes to attend, please PM me as they've asked for a heads up.

I liked his replies to my thread in November 2020 about a Conservative victory in the 1974 election at https://forum.sealionpress.co.uk/index.php?threads/conservatives-win-in-1974.3355/ using his first hand experience as a Conservative volunteer that year.
