Fitzwilliam Darcy of Pemberley (17 October 1769 — 19 February 1837) [1] was a politician and landowner who served as Member of Parliament for Cheshire and succeeded his father as High Sheriff of Cheshire. Although elected as an independent, Darcy was broadly allied to the Whigs, as he was also a distant relation of William Fitzwilliam, 4th Earl Fitzwilliam.

Darcy made little mark in Parliament, and was viewed by his contemporaries as a diffident and difficult character[Citation needed].

Keir Rodney Starmer, best known by his stage name Rod Starmer, is a British flautist and jazz musician. Starmer is also a professor at the Trinity College of Music.

Educated at Reigate Grammer School, Starmer studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He was taught by professor Geoffrey Gilbert and enrolled in the newly-established jazz course at the Guildhall, studying under Lionel Grigson. He counted jazz musicians such as Huw Warren and Courtney Pine as classmates. As well as regularly collaborating with many of his fellow Guildhall alumni, Starmer has played in the bands of Ronnie Scott, Arturo Sandoval, Pat Metheny and Oscar Peterson.

In addition to his work with jazz bands, Starmer has played with the London Symphony Orchestra and has regularly collaborated with former high school classmate indie rock artist Wheatstraw (Norman Cook).

A lifelong republican and socialist, Starmer publicly declined an offer of an OBE in 2013. He is active member of the Labour Party, and has performed fundraising concerts for the Labour Party in 2012 and 2015, and for the unsuccessful leadership candidacy of Frances Curran. He participated in demonstrations for the pro-immigration "All Are Welcome" movement and against UN intervention in Ethiopia.

Established in 1913 by President Charles Evan Hughes as a merger of the Louisiana State Department of the Occult and factions of the Theosophical Society, The Occult Department is considered one of the most important executive agencies. Analogous to a Ministry of Magic in other nations, the Department serves as the federal government's chief diplomats and representatives to the supernatural world, and is the second Cabinet Official in the order of precedence (after the Secretary of State), and is the twelfth in the presidential line of succession.

As of 2024, the Occult Department maintains around 937 posts across the supernatural world, the most of any nation. It also manages the supply and sale of Magicka in the United States, the Trinity Site Memorial Zone, and handles security for 48 of the 51 Magical Colleges in the United States[2]. Additionally, it is a Member of the Supernatural Containment Protocol, an organization of over 300 Departments, Ministries, and Private Companies that regulate the various Magicka hubs of the world.

This one's part of 366 Days of Madness REVAMPED - a remake of an AH.com timeline of mine of the same name, which is in turn heavily based on 2020: Shots Fired by Dab master on Sufficient Velocity.

The assassination of Bernie Sanders serves as one of the main PoDs of both source timelines, and I've decided to go a step further by actually going ahead and linking pretty much most of the events featured in 366R to an actual event that occurred in 2020 — though, at a certain point, it becomes downright apocalyptic.

thank you so much!! if you want to know the real reason why i haven't made a follow-up yet, it's because i got a new laptop and the mega spreadsheet with all my lore planned out got deleted, so my plans with that timeline have severely stalled (the perils of not backing up your files properly). i still plan to do more but it'll likely be many months before anything comes of it. i'd also love to hear anything you remember of your ideas, it's still really interesting to me and i love hearing other's perspectives on the idea.
