Removing previous usernames from profile

As above; recently noticed my old username was still viewable on my profile as part of the "previous usernames" section.

Is it possible to remove this? I'd prefer if possible as the username is related to my deadname.

I don't seem to be able to do it, maybe @Meadow can have a look when he has time but I have a feeling it's a software thing.

I believe I’ve just tweaked a setting which deals with this - the button to see past usernames should now have been removed. Is this the case for you?

Thanks - it still seems to be there on my profile, sadly. I'm not sure if it's not updated or if maybe you can always see it on your own profile?

For what it's worth, as a user who is not a mod and is not you I could not see it before and cannot see it now.
