From HouseFresh, here are 3D pictures of also-ran designs for the White House. Have you got a favourite?

What the White House Could Have Looked Like

Something about design #3 makes it feel obnoxious, "I'm the president and you AREN'T"

I like number 3 more than any of the others. It architecturally bellows "I'm in charge here". It was going to built by slaves, anyway.

Hart's plan could also double as a shishi boutique hotel.

Jefferson's plan just looks like a glorified ice cream parlour.

Jefferson's plan is so elegant but it looks a bit too small to be the White House.
Apparently Jefferson complained that the final design was too big:

Jefferson would move into the White House as president in 1801, describing the mansion as “big enough for two emperors, one Pope and the grand Lama.”

#1 Dodgy church where the pastor flies a private jet because that's what God wants.
#2 Too tall. Feels very unbalanced.
#3 Too fussy. Very cluttered roofline.
#4 Meh. Mediocre state capitol/ courthouse. Alright, but nothing special.
#5 My personal favourite.

Blind Date is getting too political.
