Some interesting ideas that never made it to the final script: Freddy as one of the counsellors at Crystal Lake the day Jason drowned and a cult of Freddy worshippers in Christmas jumpers.

I just read the interview. Great point about how 2014 was 8 years ago. I was only 11-12 at the time and I am 19 turning 20 on 4 October now. I remember the Scottish Independence referendum in 2014.
