Could the Conservatives gained a Majority in 1950 and its effects?

As the title says, could the Conservative’s gained a majority government in 1950 (albeit most likely a slender one) and what would its effects be?

Could see potential effects on Korea, the NHS and the Smog Crisis first off. Additionally would an extra year of government likely increase the chance of Churchill have to leave due to a stroke/heath problems.
