I don't know if XenForo and Bluesky actually support this, but would it be possible to update the embed function to allow Bluesky posts to be embedded the way tweets already can be? @Meadow

So Googling this query brings this post up as the second result (lol) so there isn't a clear answer yet. But I've reached out to the person behind the plugin we use to embed other sites into posts, and they will apparently get back to me.

when it's resolved, make sure to only update this thread with a cryptic response like "oh yeah it was actually quite easy" and then refuse to give any further details about how this obscure issue could be resolved

So, the maker of the plugin (who is lovely) has got Bluesky on their radar but there's no hard timeline yet. SLP will be making a donation to the plugin to say thanks once Bsky support is added and I'll of course let you know here once that happens.

One thing I have noticed is that they aren’t formatted well on mobile when in portrait mode.


You have to have it in landscape for the full post to show.

Maybe not the best example as it is a short message but any skeet that wraps onto a second line get mangled.

Ah I think I know what the issue is, I’ve set text size to 150% which breaks the formatting, reducing it to 125% shows the embed okay. As you were!
