An Alternate History of the Roman Empire: Things Fall Apart but the Centre can Hold

I remain very impressed by the way how this is clearly a period of massive crisis and turmoil, but by having crises take place sequentially not simultaneously, and slightly weakening the nature of each one it all adds up to an overall better picture for Rome.
