First thought on reading article, Anji not realising where she is meant seems odd; is the angle that she's never been Scotland before and that's why they land in Edinburgh and not London?

The lack of defined character for the Eighth Doctor is probably why Big Finish won the long war, by having McGann they get to say what the character is and have everyone go "must be true cos that's the Doctor speaking".

Never read much of the EDAs, have to say the ongoing arc across dozens of novels put me off. Felt the covers didn't entice the way that the Virgin books did too, going mostly for abstract images as opposed to giving you an idea of the spectacle within.

Felt the covers didn't entice the way that the Virgin books did too, going mostly for abstract images as opposed to giving you an idea of the spectacle within.

The later Virgin Benny books did this too IIRC, not a great stylistic change for the time.

Earthworld had a Natural History Museum robot Deinonychus on it though, that was cool.
