What is the best plausible political-military result for an Arab military coalition in the Yom Kippur War of 1973?
Military victory of some kind is great, if it can be had, but escalation that leads to global thermonuclear war and mass human death in the northern hemisphere doesn't seem like a victory for anyone. Even regional nuclear warfare doesn't seem like a winning outcome for anyone, although I suppose if there's still a basically functioning state standing in the region, it can be a 'winner'?
Is there any way a better/more successful or 'victorious' Arab coalition performance can get any results near-term or medium-term, for the Palestinian cause, specifically?
