What if Armenia from May 2015 is ISOTed one hundred twenty years into the past, into the middle of the time of the Hamidian massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire next door?

What can Armenia do to sustain its population and technology level, stave off being crushed by Tsarist authorities for “rebellion”, and do to aid co-ethnics in the Ottoman Empire?

Guns of the South ends with a really great point. Lee is talking to one of the AWB guys about computers and asks if the guy can teach them how to build more. Dude says absolutely not, and something along the lines of "You don't even have the tech to develop the tech you would need."

Any ISOT of a modern group of any sort being sent back more then like 60 years creates the same problem with advanced tech. With the additional thing that we live in a modern, globalized economy. It doesn't have to be advanced tech, there's plenty of mundane stuff that Armenia needs to function that they don't have the means to produce. Even a country that does produce major output would collapse since they wouldn't have the resources they import to keep things going.
