Vignette Sunday: Cliche - Parliamentary Procedure

This is a very useful tool to help write except it doesn't explain how the Speech will go.

I'm chuffed that my vignette was picked. I suppose I've read too many classic timelines from the 2000s, which, thought-provoking and entertaining as they are, too often lack the confidence that readers will pick up on foreshadowing unless it is waved several inches from their faces.

My favorite part was shoving in Vladimir Putin. Since I've seen too many OTL figures plopped in timelines where they ought to be butterflied away, that was what rang true to me.

Nah, that's all in the next update, which would feature a lovingly detailed description of the atrocity. There'd be a bit of gore to excite people, but it would also pull back so that the author can pruriently sniff about how he's above that kind of 'Vlad Tepes award' bait.
