Thanks Thande, I think this was one of my favorite stories to write, and I have notes somewhere for a sequel/expansion to either short story length or maybe novelette length - exploring a 21st Century Nazi Hollywood sort of thing
 
Really nice work, I didn't see the twist coming either (I thought it was meant to be a Commando or Sven Hassel style story). I like the deliberate inaccuracies being used to actually serve a propaganda purpose rather than 'because that's how Hollywood does it'. Makes you wonder, of course, if some of the inaccuracies in OTL's films were exactly the same thing...

(Another nice moment was the Eastbourne sand looking 'inviting' - it being September, and Eastbourne, should have been a hint that this wasn't exactly being shot on location...)
