oh no no no sorry, i was referring to how high the standards here are

then again, i have negative self-confidence in both myself and my AH so that's probably it

(edit: oh hey, page 2!)

High standards aren't something to worry about. People are here to help you out, not to tear you down. Sometimes we're not good at it but this an incubator for talent. Feedback is always a good thing, and hopefully it can help you out. Trust me I know how hard it is to move ahead with self-confidence issues, but you can do it.

they're pretty chill here, green, and i know i've known you for a while but i really like your AH. You taught me American politics could be cool and fun.

I'm not going to tell you to "just relax" because I know social anxiety is a bitch, but I will inform you that the standards aren't too high here, and even if they were, I think you reach it.

figured that i might as well start posting my usual thoughts and musings on AH instead of pressuring myself to pen a list every time i get on this page.

i really like this video. it's a different side of Rocky that nobody ever sees - not Rocky the charismatic, smiling, larger-than-life gladhandler, but Rocky the quiet, reminiscent, almost humble scion. i sense a tinge of reluctance talking about his mother and sharing correspondence to the world, and also notice how much care he puts on his words (Rocky was dyslexic and as such was infamous for his hard-to-decipher writing and occasional line-flubbing)

plus, i just really like his voice.

- Napolitano too admittedly (U of A represent!)
- Bloomberg / Boren as well (hey, at least it looks nicer with them)
- i still and will always hate doing 2000s AH
