I personally wonder how will sea lion press amazon sales be affected by the temporary shutdown. And will people be able to buy books during it?
What temporary shutdown? Have I missed something about amazon shutting down their kindle store?I personally wonder how will sea lion press amazon sales be affected by the temporary shutdown. And will people be able to buy books during it?
So amazon books can still be bought inspite of the shutdown, is what your saying. What temporary shutdown? Have I missed something about amazon shutting down their kindle store?
If you are referring to the forum possibly shutting down in March, the main thread on that is very clear that a) that wouldn't be temporary and b) it wouldn't affect any part of SLP beyond the forum, meaning the book sales would be unaffected.
I mean SLP books predate the forum by multiple years.

From the off, let me say this: The publishing company Sea Lion Press is not in any danger.
A simple yes would've been fine. Thanks anyways.
Show me the part where I disagreed with him, cause I had agreed with him once he showed me the qoute. You said during the/in spite of the shutdown (I'm assuming you mean potentially of the forum)
There is no shutdown of the publishing side of things. That's what Gary was explaining.
I only get new books when I search for them on amazon, and in rare cases refresh the page.If I may offer a suggestion, SLP needs a mailing list. Amazon is not always reliable when it comes to updating people of new books, certainly not unless there's money behind it. I don't recall getting many notes about new SLP books, even when i follow the author.

SLP has a mailing list, which can be signed up for on the Sea Lion Press page. The last email I received from them was the one which included the announcement of the latest new releases. If I may offer a suggestion, SLP needs a mailing list.
