That does remind me of a question, how could you have a Left Wing in Post Soviet Russia that isn’t filled with Soviet Nostalgics or folks pandering to Putin and have more individuals like Lobanov.soft, the presence of people like the rare Russian Sanderista Mikhail Lobanov
Who else remembers that one point when he looked like George Galloway
clay higgins could either be a government official undervladimir putinwalter peterson or a particularly odious representative in an independent U.S. south

This is very old news, and it's a shame that the fucker in question ranks so high as to be Deputy Chairman of the State Duma's Committee on Defense, but also lmaoooooooooooooooo
"We should be looking for that bud, and if he travels anywhere–grab him like Bout and bring him over here to make him explain who he wanted to kill and... This is how we should be acting... Spend 25 years in prison and then when you get out—“IF” you get out—you can show us whom you wanted to kill." (c) Alexei Zhuravlyov, c. 15.12.2021
"So, you know what, dear comrade? We can sentence you here, and, you know, we can find people like [Ramon] Mercades [sic!] - a former Hero of the Soviet Union - who will carry out our verdict. Mercades is the guy who beat Trotsky to death with an ice pick because the USSR sentenced him to death! You, [obscene], look, you American pindos, you will be sentenced here, and you will not be able to do anything. You will run all over [obscene] America in a bulletproof vest, because there will be people who will make you respect [Russia]! And not tell people that Russians should be killed!" Wait, how is gallego a bastard?Gallego is a bastard, but come on, how do they propose to kidnap him and not end up getting shot at by half the neighborhood?
Sounds cool, would you mind sharing where you saw it?Recently I've been trying to look for an alternate list of Presidents of the Confederate States of America. I only vaguely recall the exact details - only that it had someone other than Jefferson Davis as one of the Presidents, that there was more than one President, and that one of the writeup's last lines mentioned a government-in-exile in London/Paris/Brazil. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
EDIT: never mind, found it

Ah, sorry. I missed it, as I forgot that links just display as normal text on this forum.I saw it in the thread which I linked above.
I'm almost certainly going to come off as a hypocrite but Albert Alonzo "Doc" Ames doesn't have nearly enough content on here involving him.
A. A. Ames - Wikipedia

Absolutely ridiculous man all things considered
Served four non-consecutive terms as Mayor of Minneapolis and progressively grew more debased until he made the city government a literal organized crime syndicate, complete with his brother as the chief of police and a notorious gambler in charge of the police force's detectives
Gave an interview saying that Ireland is priest-ridden and incapable of ruling itself, subsequently claimed to have received death threats from Clan na Gael
Lost a gubernatorial election by exactly 3,400 votes — should it be mentioned that his opponent was of Irish descent?
Managed to evade conviction by claiming that he was ill, becoming a hotel manager in Indiana, was put on trial for receiving a bribe of $600 from a prostitute, went free after two mistrials and then died in 1911 as a practicing medic
He was also apparently considered a potential Democratic vice presidential candidate in 1888
