To do that you must somehow both make the popular skapunk bands at the time not break and make alt rock and rap less cultural significant, not to mention boy bands.i wonder if you could potentially write an althist where skapunk becomes the most popular music genre in the united states at some point in the mid-90's

Oh,and Nu Metal.
Honestly, the mid to late 90βs was the golden age of one hit wonders and popular bands that faded into obscurity immediately after the beginning of the 21th Century and the rise of Nu Metal and making skapunk the popular music genre for awhile (which arguably it already was back then),let alone staying into mainstream attention is hard without, idk,Nirvana ever existing.
Even then that would just prolong the musical styles of the Eighties slightly longer til EMF became the new big thing and then fade into obscurity because it turns out that rave isnβt exactly meant for mainstream success or deep songs.
Again, they wouldnβt last long. Rave didnβt really appeal to mainstream audiences back in 1991.yes i do also watch todd in the shadows
the emf timeline is in fact the darkest timeline
"the trotskyists formerly known as Militant"
That was quite amusing, it was also surprising to see the back being like βPride Is Protestβ and discussing about how we need to support our LGBT+ comrades and it looks nice. Shame the Socialist Party is a bit dodgy but canβt fault the footsoldiers for the problems of there commanders."the trotskyists formerly known as Militant"
have you ever been close to tragedy or been close to folks who have?i wonder if you could potentially write an althist where skapunk becomes the most popular music genre in the united states at some point in the mid-90's
have you ever been close to tragedy or been close to folks who have?
have you ever felt a pain so powerful, so heavy you collapse
no, well
IIIIIIII NEVER HAD TO KNOCK ON WOOD
this idea has really sparked something in my head but i don't quite know what it isI should do some post-industrial british superhero worldbuilding. I think you could get a lot of cool ideas out of that, like:
ORANGEMAN: An extremely sectarian hero, having popped up in Northern Ireland in the 1970's. Born Donald Young in a small town in Antrim, he believes himself to have been blessed with holy power. The bad news is that he continues to tie his horse to the Reverend Ian Paisley and therefore the British government has trouble keeping him under control.
holy shit i should totally do something with this, set it in 1986
Depends,do you consider Marvel Vs Capcom 3 to be canon?has anyone done a list on the political career of Mike Haggar from Final Fight?
cikka on discord said:so i feel like i want to work with this "british superheroes" idea
my basic idea is that in the mid 1970's, superheroes begin popping up internationally
by 1979, there's about 24
the most prominent in the two cold war powerblocs being "Cowboy" (Actually Grant Harris, an Oklahoma-born Texan with a libertarian political outlook and a hidden drug addiction, whose superpower is hyper-accuracy with ranged weapons) and "Red Star" (Actually Tomasz Kosek, a polish-born former civil servant who is secretly trying to leverage power in the Polish People's Republic)
and the government of the UK is getting really panicked about how they haven't found any yet so they start searching
i have fleshed out ideas for three of them
one is a factory engineer from Glasgow whose technical skill has let him keep his job among massive layoffs
the other is a London teenager who is literally indestructible
so the british government tries to fashion these five people into a british supergroup
