NGL I think if a Jewish man professing socialism takes office in the US, the Republican candidate against him is probably not going to be Nikki Haley.Getting it right the first time.
Who'd you suggest?NGL I think if a Jewish man professing socialism takes office in the US, the Republican candidate against him is probably not going to be Nikki Haley.
Honestly? Trump again.Who'd you suggest?
In this scenario Trump loses and fucks off to his ivory tower in NYC in disgrace. As funny as it'd be I didn't wanna do "trump wins again"Honestly? Trump again.
Fair. In that case, you'd probably see someone extremely white and extremely racist. DeSantis, maybe, or Cotton. In this scenario Trump loses and fucks off to his ivory tower in NYC in disgrace. As funny as it'd be I didn't wanna do "trump wins again"
Seems good to me. Sorry if I was being nitpicky.
i had this impulse as well but i think OTL has demonstrated that this isn't nesecarily true. even if Trump has created a mass fiction about the 2020 election where he won, he's still broadly seen as a loser, especially in media, which Trump has always cared about way more than the adoration of his base and he's still likely going to run in 2024. trump likely would still be well liked enough even after losing to win a primary re-run and would have his ego largely unbruised if he has a shot to prove that he was wronged in some way, which he could easily say if Sanders had defeated him in 16'.A Trump rerun in a scenario where he lost in 2016 doesn't make a lot of sense to me. He wouldn't have nearly the same grip on the GOP if he was branded a loser.
I'm not sure that checks out. People can stomach the loss of 2020 because he delivered in 2016 against all predictions of the punditry. I don't think they'd get as invested if he lost and didn't have 4 years with a presidential platform to build upon.i had this impulse as well but i think OTL has demonstrated that this isn't nesecarily true. even if Trump has created a mass fiction about the 2020 election where he won, he's still broadly seen as a loser, especially in media, which Trump has always cared about way more than the adoration of his base and he's still likely going to run in 2024. trump likely would still be well liked enough even after losing to win a primary re-run and would have his ego largely unbruised if he has a shot to prove that he was wronged in some way, which he could easily say if Sanders had defeated him in 16'.
you're asking the wrong question Blacken. it has already been answered by the man himself.Surviving Paul Wellstone question -- mustache or clean shaven?

Mustache Wellstone looks like he fixes speedboats in Hastings but spends most of his time in pub-league darts and/or writing about local history, and Mustacheless Wellstone looks like a character from a media-based sitcom who Isn't Andrew Neill. So no contest.Surviving Paul Wellstone question -- mustache or clean shaven?
It would be highly appropriate for the new Gilded AgeMore politicians should have facial hair in general.
