Every time I see "elevated horror", I think of Mark Kermode ranting mid-review "there's no such thing as elevated horror, it's just horror!!"
Who started that term?? A BBC article found it said online in 2010 but somehow it crossed over. Someone should have clipped that butterfly's wings.
