This is incredibly useful. I've got some catching up to do in a few areas, and this is much easier than navigating the main site.

The links to @Thande's Consequences series are funny in how little they reveal.

I mean, the actual title is less revealing than "How we link WJB to JEB's failure, through L Frank Baum, Shaun Connery and Melissa Benoist", but "Jeb Bush" as the title adds an interesting sense of pot luck to a series that already feels a bit like that.

I might be mistaken, but part XI of @Alex Richards" whatever adjective @Thande had used this week series on the Thirty Years War appears to have done a bunk. The index goes straight from X to XII, and putting XI on the address bar gets a 'page not found'.

Not sure why that is, but I've just found the original thread in this subforum.

Article here.

Thanks for pointing out the problem Geordie and finding the article Alex. Made my job a whole lot easier.

It looks like it just wasn't tagged, which is an easy enough fix, which I'll do when I get home. A lot of the early articles weren't tagged, because the tagging system was introduced later. I tried to fix it as much as I can when compiling this index but the Thirty Years War series is my kryptonite.

Glad it looks like an easy fix.

Thanks for doing this @Gary Oswald ! Something I should have started back when I was doing it and would have been far easier to do as I went along, so many thanks for doing the hard yards now.
(And once again, for taking over the reins and forging on so well)

I like the fact that the Thirty Years War series has reached the 'sod it just link the other index' stage.

Feels very accurate to life that.

I have finally gone back and linked to all the individual articles. What gets me is Gustav and Wallenstein are both dead by article 19.

The Thirty Years War is very like that yes.

Part of it is I think I've got more expansive on the details going through. Part of it is that Lutzen is *literally* half-way through the war, and that's the more straightforward half of the war. Part of it is that I've done a couple of general overviews of subtheatres that tend to come later in the series (Hesse, the Guelphs etc.)

Have now added all the fiction we've posted on the front page to this index. The vignettes, serials and first chapters. Most of this is available elsewhere (the first chapters are reposted from the books and the vignettes are reposted from the forums) but an index might still be useful for them and the serials sometimes aren't anywhere else.
