Damn that's wild. And a bit random I guess.
It’s meant more to signify a mood.

I’ll give some detailed explanations of it a bit later but basically it’s a world where doomsday like events keep happening, but the world at large doesn’t end, just keeps on going.

Wild guesses on the sentiments:
Bayrou is "we want a stable centrist in charge in these trying times"
Melenchon is "the stable centrists were totally worthless at dealing with the problem I guess, also where did the economy went? Maybe we should care about that a little"

Mélenchon is supposed to represent a lesser evil that is sorta preferable to Le Pen,but is still bad as a whole.

That and a false savior.

Again, meant to be an apocalyptic world where things sometimes go out of control.

The alternative title was “Ow The Edge or A Very Stupid Apocalyptic World”

Darkest timeline
Rummy doesn’t actually do much beyond trying to bring order to post war India and Pakistan and trying to stabilize the economy.

He doesn’t really make the events anymore in this timeline. Just reacts to them. A meh President without any real power and who’s mostly given up.
