I feel the article deserves a post but cannot for the life of me think what still needs to be said.

This about sums up the later period of the Thirty Years War.

This about sums up the later period of the Thirty Years War.

It really does feel like that at times. Especially come 1646 and the strong 'yeah everyone knows there aren't going to be any big changes to the peace settlement anyway' mood.
