I’ve never been brave enough to even really consider setting AH during the Thirty Years’ War; there’s always way more going on than I’m aware of and I perennially fear falling into one of the many traps around it.

Having said that, these articles are fantastic and you really have done a great job of breaking down these early stages, and I look forward to more.

Incidentally, thanks for these articles. I knew very little about the 30YW period. Now, I still know very little, but a bit more than I did, and enough to know that there's a huge amount of stuff to know.
