Is it possible to have a fishing trip from one part of the forum (in this case, specifically the Pub), while still having access to the Writing section?

I rather suspect that it isn't, but I thought it best to check.
 
I'm afraid it isn't.
Our only tool is to temporarily ban people from the entire site.
 
Update: I've just found out we can ban someone from a particular thread - but only replying to it. You'd still be able to read it.
