Work has begun on the second volume of With Iron and Fire, but a big chunk of it is about the Sino-Japanese War and, as a complete layperson on military matters, I find myself rather out of my depth. I could use some help from people who know that kind of stuff.

Help needed with the Sino-Japanese War in With Iron and Fire

Work has begun on the second volume of With Iron and Fire, but a big chunk of it is about the Sino-Japanese War and, as a complete layperson on military matters, I find myself rather out of my depth. I could use some help from people who know that kind of stuff.
I'm an armchair general, know very little of the Sino-Japanese War specifically, and WWII isn't really my thing, but I can try to answer any questions you might have regardless.
You might still be able to answer some of the questions we've been asking ourselves about the main military operations. This isn't the Sino-Japanese War from OTL anyway. Could this "Second Volume" be released next year? Or is it too early to estimate?
