Edmund has been unbanned from the forum, but has a restriction on his account meaning he cannot read or post in The Pub.
This follows correspondence with myself and the moderating team, over several months. It should be noted that Edmund's first appeal was denied as it came soon after an instance of Edmund using a sockpuppet to circumvent his ban.
Edmund has displayed great contrition and apologised for the offence he caused on the forum while he was a poster here before. Taking this and his young age into account, the moderation team have decided to give him this final chance.
The mod team wish it to be known that they consider the matter of Edmund's prior abrasive behaviour to be closed, and ask that forum members refrain from bringing it up - including in jest, and including in The Pub where he will be unable to see it. Posting about any member behind their back like that would be and is inappropriate. Ignorance of this request by the mod team will not be a defence if Edmund is personally attacked by any member claiming not to know about it, and equally, Edmund has been expressly warned not to reopen old scores either.
It remains Edmund's responsibility not to make this highly unusual decision into a mistake. It goes without saying that there will be no possible appeals should Edmund be banned again.
