Well! The Liberals win most of the South, but the NDP cling on to a few states, and the Bloc has a few good results though doesn't win anywhere. Quite a picture!

I like the Very American Ending where all of that arguing was pointless anyway because it's not as if the Whig-controlled legislature would let him do anything.

The most American ending would be if after the constitutional crisis and ensuing legal battle it turns out it was actually a special election and he only sat for four months.
