Blackentheborg's city council archive filing cabinet

I had an idea for a near-future TL a while back. I wrote out the major plot points on my notepad but lost all of it except for one line ("Convinced by pro-corporate lobbyists when they bring up Hunter Biden's data leak, Pres. Biden __ _____ _____") so I have no idea where it would've gone.

I honestly don't like writing these sort of "Workers uprising" concepts because I feel like it's expected to end with the revolutionaries overthrowing the government, but lets be honest, that's boring as hell.

Is Ruben Gallego even a squad guy?

Is Ruben Gallego even a squad guy?

i think it's implied here that Gallego and a few others associate with this version of the squad because the overton window is left enough that moderate progressives can openly ally with socialists without much backlash, because gallego, street, kenyatta, and even khana aren't exactly "Squad" matieral as of right now.

Huh

I wonder how many of them can avoid getting defeated by Republicans courting moderate voters

Also Rep. Tzintzun Ramirez is rather cursed given her surname bragging during the primaries

I wonder how many of them can avoid getting defeated by Republicans courting moderate voters

any scenario in which the squad has expanded to that level is probably at the historical point where the dynamic of "Republicans and Democrats trade a small group of near-mythical Suburban moderates until the sun burns out" is no longer electorally relevant
