An Australian WWII ISOT

Australia at this moment in 2019 is ISOT'd to the same moment on August 31, 1939, Australian EST.

Our Prime Minister is Scott Morrison, who is somewhat crass and gittish, and i am not sure how he will handle being a wartime leader.

Our Opposition Leader is Bill Shorten, a former union leader.

Our major third party leader is Richard Di Natale. While he is on the right wing of his party, the ex-comms and Trots in his party could cause trouble, especially if they decide to help the Soviet Union out of socialist solidarity.

In OTL, Robert Menzies approached John Curtin to form a wartime Government of National Unity. Curtin rejected it as it would have split the party.

Will Morrison approach Shorten with a similar offer? And, if he does, will Shorten accept it?

I doubt either major party will want to involve the pacifist/BDS/anti-nuke crazies of the left in the wartime government.
