Airships: Potential PoDs - No WWI

There's an interesting sub-PoD there mind you- if Lettow-Vorbeck had been able to stay in the flatter ground for longer, it might well be that the drama of a succesful ressupply by airship could have caught the public imagination.

The first attempt to supply Lettow-Vorbeck was with a sister ship, the L-57/LZ-102, but was burned on the ground on the 8th of October after it was damaged whilst attempting to enter it's hangar. L-59/LZ-104 was its replacement, but was unable to make the trip until the 21st of November.

I'm now imagining an earlier development where the relief of Khartoum is accomplished by airship.
