Doctor Who: Return of the Cybermen

It is interesting that, and how maybe that's what was missing from the 80s years. Davison didn't get one until his final season, McCoy his second. On the other hand, Baker had both Daleks and Cybermen and The Master and the Sontarans and a multi-Doctor in his first season... maybe shows just how...

The TLIAX nomenclature is really a holdover from AH.com where the most common format of narrative TL where these multi-year epics such as Decades of Darkness or Look to the West. It was evocative of a certain thing: a limited number of entries, a particular focus, a list as TL, the style of a...

    Football PoDs and alternate possibilities.

Very interesting proposition, @Gary Oswald. So we might see the Football League, the Scottish League, a Southern League, and a Northern League. Not sustainable in the long-term probably, especially if wider history largely proceeds as OTL, but I wonder eventually when the need for consolidation...

Scenes We'd Like To See: Alternate Movies, Television & Other Pop Culture Miscellanea

Random thought following on from yesterday's random thought: if Friday the 13th goes down the anthology route (which they had considered even as early as the first sequel) and the franchise isn't based around Jason Voorhees then it's possible Hugh Jackman doesn't go into acting. He only wanted...

Scenes We'd Like To See: Alternate Movies, Television & Other Pop Culture Miscellanea

Watching the 80s horror documentary In Search of Darkness Part II I was struck by an idea mentioned by Stuart Gordon during a segment on films people wanted to make but never got off the ground. Per Gordon he wanted to do a series of adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft all starring Jeffrey Combs and...
